Whitby Abbey Locals Day

Every year Whitby Abbey throws open its doors and allows local residents to enter free of charge. In 2019 we were delighted to be offered the chance to join in the fun. Armed with plenty of leaflets, stickers, pens, recycled cardboard tubes and the odd bloom we embarked on a day of laughter, creativity and bees. From 9:30am to 4:30pm we talked to Mums and Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas and created 40 bug houses with children as young as 3!
